About Us

Talquin Electric Cooperative is a member-owned, non-profit electric distribution cooperative headquartered in Quincy, Florida. Talquin provides electricity to 54,000 accounts and provides water and wastewater services from Florida's Gulf Coast, north to the Florida State line, including portions of Tallahassee and surrounding areas. Talquin provides services to homes and businesses across a four-county, 2,600 square mile service territory including Gadsden, Leon, Liberty, and Wakulla counties of Florida.

Talquin is headquartered in Quincy, Florida and operates six Members Service Offices that are conveniently located throughout our service area. Our commitment to staffing six area offices, is to ensure that our members receive professional and courteous assistance from someone local, who cares about their utility needs.
