HOW TO APPLY FOR SERVICE:
Please visit one of our Area Offices to meet with a Member Service Representative and bring the following documents:
Applications are required on all metered services. This fully executed document authorizes Talquin Electric to provide utility services at the service location in the applicant’s name.
Deposits are required on all utility accounts at the time of application. The deposit may be waived if a Letter of Credit in the applicant’s name is provided by another utility verifying 12-month’s good credit for the most current 15-month period. Another option is for the applicant to agree to an on-line credit check (a fee is charged for this service). Deposits may also be waived for existing members requesting additional service based on their existing credit status. The Letter of Credit must be conveyed directly from the utility to Talquin.
