Mal Green (District 5 - Northeastern Leon County)
Mr. Green is the Trustee from District 5, northeastern Leon County. He is a graduate of FSU and former Manager of Ring Power Corp. He is a military veteran having served in the US Navy and USAF. Mr. Green currently serves as President of Talquin’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Green has served as President of the Board of Trustees of Seminole Electric for the past three years and currently serves Seminole as a Director.
Carrie Durden (District 4 - Eastern Gadsden County and the Lake Jackson area of Leon County)
Mrs. Durden is the Trustee from District 4, eastern Gadsden County and the Lake Jackson area of Leon County. Mrs. Durden’s background includes many successful years as a Multi-line Agent and Manager with Farm Bureau Insurance as well as community leadership in agriculture, youth, and 4-H work. Mrs. Durden is a Credentialed Director through NRECA, holds a Master’s degree from FSU, a Board Leadership Certificate through NRECA, and a C.L.U. designation (Chartered Life Underwriter). Mrs. Durden serves as Vice-President on the Talquin Board of Trustees.
Joseph Alexander (District 3 - Central Gadsden County)
Mr. Alexander is the Trustee from District 3, central Gadsden County. He is employed by the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, as the Child Care Services Program Manager for the Northwest Region (a 16-county service area). Mr. Alexander is a Credentialed Director, holds a Board Leadership Certificate through NRECA, and is a graduate of FAMU. Mr. Alexander serves as Secretary/Treasurer on the Talquin Board of Trustees.
David Wright (District 2 - Northwest Gadsden County)
Dr. Wright is the Trustee from District 2, northwest Gadsden County where he resides with his wife, Debbie, and children. He is a Professor of Agronomy for the University of Florida’s North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy and holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and SU.
William VanLandingham (District 1 - Southern Gadsden County)
Mr. VanLandingham is the Trustee from District 1, southern Gadsden County. Mr. VanLandingham is Vice-President/Agency Manager with BB&T Landrum-Yaeger Insurance Services in Tallahassee. Mr. VanLandingham is a lifelong resident of the Juniper community and a graduate of FSU. Mr. VanLandingham is a Credentialed Director through NRECA.
Doug Bruce (District 6 - Southeast Leon County)
Mr. Bruce is the Trustee from District 6, southeast Leon County. Mr. Bruce is a lifelong Leon County resident who resides in southeastern Leon County. He has been active in state government during his career and works as a Governmental Consultant. Mr. Bruce is a Credentialed Director through NRECA and is a graduate of FSU.
Bobby Strickland (District 7 - Eastern Wakulla County)
Mr. Strickland is the Trustee from District 7, eastern Wakulla County. Mr. Strickland resides in Crawfordville and spent a successful career with the Department of Transportation for the State of Florida. Mr. Strickland attended TCC and is a Credentialed Director and holds a Board Leadership Certificate through NRECA.
Clifford Bristol (District 8 - Liberty and Western Wakulla Counties)
Dr. Bristol is the Trustee from District 8, which includes Liberty and western Wakulla Counties. He is a resident of Bristol and is a Physician at the TMRMC Blountstown clinic. Dr. Bristol is a Credentialed Director through NRECA and is a graduate of Clemson and the University of Miami Medical School.
Sam Fenn (District 9 - Southwest Leon County)
Mr. Fenn is the Trustee from District 9, southwest Leon County. Mr. Fenn is a Pharmacist in Tallahassee and a graduate of Mercer University, School of Pharmacy. Mr. Fenn is a Credentialed Director and holds a Board Leadership Certificate through NRECA. Mr. Fenn also serves on the Board of Trustees for Seminole Electric.
