Talquin Member Sends Thanks in Prose
How Talquin Saved Christmas
A storm came on Christmas Eve night
and blew with all its might.
Unfortunately, we lost our power,
Thankfully, Talquin came within an hour.
They braved the rain and the cold
and put their Christmases on hold.
For hours they toiled to restore our energy
So that we could open presents
by the light of the tree
and bake a Christmas tea ring
and listen to Nat King Cole sing.
Thank you Talquin for saving our Christmas!
