Talquin Youth Tour Delegates Chosen
Twenty six juniors representing eleven local high schools participated in the Talquin Electric Youth Tour, February 10-11th in Tallahassee. Four students as well as one alternate were selected to attend the NRECA National Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. this summer. Students were chosen based on personal essays, communication skills, academic achievement and leadership activities. National delegates are Rachel Procaccini, Chiles High School, Michelle Sauer, North Florida Christian School, LaCrai Mitchell, Amos P. Godby High School, Alex Taylor, Florida State University School, and alternate Payel (Princey) Patel, Robert F. Munroe. Talquin would like to congratulate Shirelle Garrett, Jordan Warner, Kieara Johnson, Shanele Jackson, and Julia Marshall, Florida A & M Developmental Research School, Megan Callahan, Chiles High School, Robert Clark and Patrick Jackson, Robert F. Munroe, Ashley Alvarez, Taylor Craig, Kelsey Alyea, Kaylee Chatham and Logan Harvey, Wakulla High School, Enrique Barrera, John Paul II Catholic High School, JazzLyn Francis and BreAna Garza, East Gadsden High School, Brittany Hightower and Staci Wilson, Amos P. Godby High School, Lindsey Peppers and Alyssa Fontela, Maclay High School, and Brooke Eubanks, Leon High School who were all selected to represent their schools in the 2010 Tallahassee Youth Tour.
