Dwight Callahan, Director of Information Services
Dwight began his career with Talquin Electric in 2001 as the Deputy Director of Information Services. He was promoted to Director of Information Services in 2003 and lives in Tallahassee. Dwight attended T.C.C and Florida State University. He is married to Janet and they have two children.
Bobby Kimbro, Director of Engineering and Operations
Bobby has worked with Talquin since 1997 in several engineering, operations, and management positions. Bobby worked prior to Talquin in marketing, engineering, supervisory and management positions at Alabama Power Company. Bobby holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He has completed NRECA’s Management Internship Program, is married to Debbie and resides in Tallahassee.
Ken Cowen, Director of Administrative Services
Ken received a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University in 1970. He worked for the City of Quincy for 16 years, 9 as Finance Director and 7 as City Manager. Ken has served Talquin Electric as Director of Administrative Services since 2000. Ken is married to LeeAnn and they have two children and one grandchild.
Eugene Kanikovsky, Director of Financial Services
Eugene received a B.S. in Finance and Economics and a minor in Marketing from Lake Superior State University. Eugene’s career began in banking before he moved to the electric cooperative world in 2000. Eugene served as Director of Finance/Office Manager at Cloverland Electric Cooperative and joined Talquin in 2007 as Director of Financial Services.
Susan Vickers, Director of Member Services
Susan is married to Zendel, with 3 children and 5 grandchildren. She graduated with honors from Sharkey-Issaquena Academy in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. Susan started with Talquin in 1996 and worked as a legal assistant and in human resources prior to her career at Talquin. Susan worked as Area Office Manager for Talquin’s Crossway and Wakulla Area Offices before moving to Director of Member Services in 2008. Susan enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping.
Bill May, Director of Cooperative Initiatives
Bill May joined Talquin in 1982 as Area Office Manager. Bill moved to Director of Member Services in 1990 and was appointed to Director of Cooperative Initiatives in 2008. Bill received an Associates of Arts Degree from Tallahassee Community College and attended F.S.U. Bill currently holds a National and World completion record, World Champion, two time National High Point Champion, Inductee into APBA Hall of Champions, numerous divisional & regional titles as well as recipient of several sportsmanship awards while competing in the SST-120 outboard racing class.
John Hewa, General Manager
John joined Talquin Electric as General Manager in December, 2006. Prior to this, John served as the Utilities Director for a municipal system in Northern Virginia where he was responsible for overseeing the delivery of Water, Wastewater, Electric and Telecommunication services.
John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee and he is a licensed Professional Engineer.
John serves as a Board of Director for Seminole Electric Cooperative, the nation’s second largest Generation and Transmission Cooperative, headquartered in Tampa, Florida delivering electricity to 1.8 million Floridians. John serves on the Board of the Florida Electric Cooperative Association. John and his wife Laura reside in North East Tallahassee with their three daughters.
Tim Waddle, Director of Water Services
Tim joined Talquin Electric Cooperative in 2001 as Director of Water Services and had previously worked for Jim Stidham & Associates, Inc., for 9 years as project manager/engineer. Tim has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology which he received from Southern Technical Institute, 1981.
