Talquin Electric Closes Member Service Lobbies
Cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed just outside of Talquin’s service territory, and we are concerned that the spread of the virus to our area may be imminent. In order to help reduce potential exposure to the virus by our employees and Members, Talquin has elected to close its Member Service office lobbies effective Monday, March 16th. However, Talquin’s Member Service offices will remain open for the drive-thru service only.
Additionally, Talquin may take additional safety precautions, including discontinuing all Member Service office functions, should the spread of COVID-19 require additional safety measures. While Talquin understands this may inconvenience Members who prefer to come into an office, the health and safety of Talquin’s employees and Members remains our top priority. Talquin encourages Members to utilize its other payment methods such as its online payment portal, mobile app, IVR, auto draft, or mail.
For requests that require in-person interaction such as applying for service or capital credit inquiries, appointments at offices will be available by contacting [email protected] or calling 850-627-7651.
