Talquin Electric Cooperative Postpones Annual Meeting
Out of an abundance of concern for the safety and health of Members and staff, Talquin Electric Cooperative has elected to postpone its Annual Meeting initially scheduled for April 25, 2020. Talquin’s Annual Meeting will now be held on September 26, 2020.
Although Talquin’s Annual Meeting has been postponed, Members can expect the same schedule of events for the new date. Talquin is working with its community partners to ensure Members’ needs are met during the September 26 meeting. Members will also vote for Board Trustees seats that are up for re-election. Prize drawings for attendees (including TVs, grills, mobile electronics, etc.) will be awarded during the event as well.
“While we are disappointed that the current state of emergency for our state and nation necessitate this postponement, our top priority remains the health and safety of all Talquin Members and employees” said Tracy Bensley, General Manager of Talquin Electric Cooperative. “We know that many Talquin Members look forward to this event each year. While we cannot provide the fun and excitement that comes with our meeting this spring, we plan to have an equally exciting event planned for this fall.”
