**Hurricane Idalia Update – 8:00 AM on Wednesday August 30, 2023**
Talquin will continue to monitor Hurricane Idalia throughout the morning as the storm makes landfall. There are approximately 15,992 Members experiencing outages across our service territory. Crews are staged and ready to restore power as quickly and safely as possible, as long as weather conditions permit them to do so. As soon as the storm has passed, the damage will be assessed and crews will begin restoring power. Talquin is prepared for extended restorations efforts throughout the service territory, with Mutual Aid crews available for additional support.
