Dear Talquin Members,
We are closely monitoring Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine, which may significantly impact our service area later this week, with effects possible as early as Wednesday evening. The National Weather Service has indicated that this system could intensify before making landfall along the Gulf Coast of Florida. Although the exact path and intensity remain uncertain, we encourage you to prepare for potential high winds, heavy rainfall, storm surge, and tornadoes – all of which can lead to downed trees and localized flooding.
In light of this situation, we have activated “Storm Mode” as part of our Emergency Response Plan. Our dedicated team is fully prepared, with vehicles stocked and mutual aid teams ready to assist as necessary. We strongly urge all Members to take precautions and stock up on essential supplies. To help you prepare, we have compiled several resources available on our website: HERE.
