Residential Service (RS)

Monthly System Access Charge:

  • Single Phase Service $40.00

Energy Charge:

  • For first 1,000 kWh $0.10610
  • Over 1,000 kWh $0.13225
  • Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment effective October 1, 2023: Credit of $0.0040 per 1,000 kWh

Minimum Monthly Charge:

The minimum monthly charge shall be the higher of:

  • System Access Charge
  • Minimum monthly charge established by contractual agreement
  • $40.00 (plus WPCA) for single phase service

In Cooperative designated street lighting districts:

  • Monthly Charge $2.20 per residence within the boundaries of a subdivision.

Outdoor Lighting Installation Charges:

  • Outdoor Area Light w/ New Pole: $525.00 (includes pole and equipment)
  • Activate Existing Outdoor Area Light That Has Been De-bulbed or LED Turned Off: $30.00
  • Replace Existing MVL with LED: $125.00 for first fixture and $30 for each additional fixture on the same trip
  • Adding an Outdoor Light to Talquin Pole: $125.00

General Service Large Demand (GSLD)

  • System Access Charge $350.00
  • Energy Charge $0.08268 per kWh
  • Wholesale Power Cost Adjustment effective October 1, 2023: Credit of $0.0040 per 1,000 kWh
  • Demand Charge $8.00 per KW
  • Measured monthly KW demand is 1,000 KW or more
  • The following credits may be applied to each KW of billing demand:
    • Point of delivery at 12 KV up to 69 KV $0.50 per KW
    • Point of delivery at 69 KV or higher $1.00 per KW

Minimum Monthly Charge shall be the higher of:

  • System Access Charge plus Demand Charge
  • Minimum monthly charge established by contractual agreement

All services will be subject to a monthly wholesale power cost adjustment.

Miscellaneous Fees and Charges

  • Membership Fee: $5.00
  • Initial Connect (New Service Locations): $50.00
  • Reconnect/Disconnect Non-Pay: $60.00
  • Unauthorized Reconnect: $250.00
  • Connect Charge (existing service): $30.00
  • Residential Late Fee: 5% of billed usage or $10.00 minimum
  • General Service Late Fee: 5% of billed usage or $25.00 minimum
  • Payment Arrangements: $10.00 per arrangement
  • Deposit 2 X average bill (12 months) or minimum of $400.00
  • Residential/Commercial Energy Analysis – No Fee
  • Meter Tampering Fee: $250.00
  • Meter Test Fee 1-phase: $20.00
  • Meter Test Fee 3-phase: $40.00
  • Disconnect/Collection Trip: $30.00
  • 72 Hour Special Service Charge, Electric Only: $110.00 (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
  • 72 Hour Special Service Charge, Electric+W+WW: $150.00 (nonrefundable, nontransferable)
  • Monthly Meter Reading Charge: $40.00
  • Returned Check less than $50.00: $25.00
  • Returned Check greater than $50.00 and less than $300: $30.00
  • Returned Check $300.01 – $800.00: $40.00
  • Returned Check $800.01 or greater 5%
